Adam Lallana expects more great moments after Old Trafford goal
Liverpool found an unlikely saviour as they drew at Old Trafford 1-1.
Playing Manchester United away is never easy and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer made things tough for us.
They scored in controversial circumstances and Jurgen Klopp had to make several changes in the second half.
Adam Lallana came off the bench to score the equaliser late in the game, and the Englishman believes there is more to come.
The former Southampton star has struggled with injuries in the previous season and was pleased that he could do something for the side (h/t Liverpool Echo):
“It’s nice to be able to contribute to a top team like this. I feel that’s the first of [some] big moments me for this season.”
“It’s a long old season. We’ve got the World Club Cup to come. We’ve got the Carabao Cup next week, the Champions League this week, the Premier League at the weekend.”
The Englishman added that he could impact games even if he wasn’t starting regularly, and his aim was to stay fit for the majority of the season.
Lallana’s chance to shine
The midfielder is one of most technical players in our side and having him fit gives us another dimension.
Our midfield was excellent during the final 10 minutes against United when we had Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Naby Keita and Lallana all on the pitch together.

Lallana could provide that extra spark from the middle of the park and hopefully, he scores more important goals before the end of the season.
