Adam Lallana likely to leave Liverpool despite Old Trafford heroics
Adam Lallana came off the bench in the 1-1 draw at Manchester United to score his first goal of the season.
The Englishman has struggled with injuries in the previous two campaigns under Jurgen Klopp but scored an important goal at Old Trafford.
The former Southampton star could provide us with some quality off the bench, however, the Athletic reports that Lallana is expected to leave in the summer (h/t Daily Star).
The 31-year-old is a free agent at the end of the season and foreign clubs can contact him in January over a summer deal.
Liverpool will offer a new deal to the Englishman as Jurgen Klopp admires Lallana’s professionalism, however, the Serie A could be the destination for the 31-year-old (h/t Daily Star).
Time for Lallana to say bye?
The midfielder will find regular starts hard to come by at Anfield given the talent we have at the moment.
Marko Grujic is also making a claim to feature in the first-team after his time with Hertha Berlin.
The Serbian has impressed with the Bundesliga club while Naby Keita and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain also looked good off the bench at Old Trafford.
