Brazilian side Flamengo interested in Liverpool midfielder Allan
Liverpool star Allan has spent many years away on loan and is currently at Fluminense. The 22-year-old has recorded just one assist so far this season and another Brazilian side wants to sign him.
Revista Colorada (h/t Liverpool Echo) claims that Flamengo want to sign the Brazilian midfielder on a permanent deal.
The youngster joined Liverpool in 2015 from Internacional but hasn’t been able to get a work permit.
Liverpool have several options in the midfield and Allan’s time at other clubs hasn’t been fruitful either.
Time for the Reds to sell?
The Reds also have Marko Grujic doing a great job at Hertha Berlin and he could do a job for us next season.
Keeping him on the books doesn’t make sense given that he still hasn’t received a work permit, and it will be interesting to see how things develop with him in the coming months.
Liverpool already have several quality players for the midfield positions, and losing Allan wouldn’t hurt us so much.
The Reds also have quality youngsters coming through the ranks and it is difficult to see the Brazilian feature much under Jurgen Klopp.
