Liverpool hold meeting with Denis Zakaria’s representatives
Denis Zakaria has been impressive for Borussia Monchengladbach this season.
The 22-year-old has played every minute for the Bundesliga club this season and has attracted the attention of Liverpool, according to Sky Deutschland (h/t Mirror).
The defensive midfielder has helped Gladbach to the top of the Bundesliga, and the report claims that Arsenal are also keen on the 22-year-old.
Liverpool and Arsenal have already held a meeting with Zakaria’s representatives, while Manchester United and Tottenham are also keeping an eye on him (h/t Mirror).
Massive interest from other clubs for Zakaria
Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, Inter Milan and Atletico Madrid are all keen on Zakaria (h/t Mirror).
The report claims that a move in January is unlikely for the Swiss international, however, Gladbach face a tough task of keeping him in the summer.
Zakaria could be a smart addition to the team as we don’t have any senior cover for Fabinho.
The Brazilian has become a key member and possibly was the best player in our win over Tottenham. Zakaria has time to develop and it will be interesting to see what his actions are in the summer.
Liverpool are one of the best teams in the world but we could still do with some cover for key players.
