Liverpool are monitoring Porto’s 17-year-old striker Fabio Silva, according to the Express
.The youngster has featured in several games for Porto this season and even scored a goal in their 3-0 win over Famalicao.
The 17-year-old is one of the brightest talents for the Portuguese side and has even featured in their Europa League campaign this season.
Liverpool aren’t the only ones who watched the youngster in action against Famalicao, with Crystal Palace, Everton and Wolves also sending officials (h/t Express).
The Reds signed a couple of young players in the transfer window and Harvey Elliott has already impressed for the side.
Sepp van den Berg also has a bright future ahead of him, and it will be interesting to see if we move for Silva anytime soon.
Liverpool saw one talented youngster in Bobby Duncan leave in the summer and we could do with another attacker joining our youth setup.
Silva seems to be ready for regular first-team games and he could grow further this season at Porto.
Joining Liverpool would see him stay in the reserve side as we already have Rhian Brewster waiting for a chance in the first-team.
Paul Glatzel also picked up a serious injury in pre-season and looked set to play some games for the first-team too.
