Liverpool interested in Valencia winger Ferran Torres
Liverpool are interested in 19-year-old Valencia winger Ferran Torres, according to SportBild (h/t Metro).
The Spanish star broke into the Valencia team in 2017 and has attracted the attention of two other clubs too.
The report claims that Borussia Dortmund and Barcelona are keen on the winger ahead of the January transfer window.
Liverpool are looking to add reinforcements in the attack, according to the report, and are keen on Torres.
Valencia open to selling Torres
Torres is contracted with the La Liga club until 2021, and the report claims that Valencia would be open to selling the teenager for €20m at the end of the season.
The Spaniard plays on the right wing and is one of the brightest talents in La Liga. However, he hasn’t been able to put up consistent performances and it will be interesting to see if he is on the move in the summer.
Liverpool signed a couple of young players in the summer with tremendous potential, but we could do with more attacking options.
Xherdan Shaqiri has struggled for fitness over the past nine months while we need cover for Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane.
Torres has the potential to develop further, and Jurgen Klopp could do a good job with the Spaniard.
