Adam Lallana garners interest from MLS and Chinese clubs
Chinese and MLS clubs are interested in Liverpool midfielder Adam Lallana, according to the Telegraph.
The 31-year-old has been on the periphery of the Liverpool first-team but has started a few games for us this season.
Lallana has had his injury troubles over the past couple of years and only started five Premier League games for the Reds last season.
The Englishman is out of a contract at the end of the season. However, the report claims that he could be on the move in January should there be concrete interest from clubs.
Lallana will be offered a new deal by Liverpool as Jurgen Klopp admires his versatility and leadership, however, he would be offered a longer deal should he move away from Anfield (h/t Telegraph).
The 31-year-old has already played an important part for us this season by scoring the equaliser in the draw against Manchester United. The midfielder has been used in the Carabao Cup regularly, and started in our 2-1 win over Aston Villa too.
Lallana’s time up at Anfield?
Liverpool could use Lallana’s experience in the team but only if he remains fit for the majority of the campaign.
The Englishman’s injury record hasn’t been great in recent years, and it will be interesting to see what the future holds for him.
Liverpool have a lot of competition for midfield slots currently, and Marko Grujic is impressing at Hertha Berlin on loan.
