Liverpool interested in 16-year-old West Brom striker Jovan Malcolm
Liverpool are one of several Premier League clubs interested in Jovan Malcolm, according to the Mirror.
The 16-year-old English forward has been in great form for the U18s this season with seven goals in five games.
The youngster even bagged four goals against us last week (h/t Mirror) and his performances have caught the attention of several clubs.
Manchester United and Arsenal are also monitoring the forward and West Brom face a tough task of keeping the 16-year-old (h/t Mirror).
Liverpool signing young players
The Reds didn’t have a big summer in terms of spending as we signed four players during the window.
Adrian and Andy Lonergan joined on free transfers while Harvey Elliott and Sepp van den Berg were also signed.
Elliott joined from Fulham and the youngster has already impressed in his outings during the Carabao Cup.
Van den Berg has also featured in the cup competition, but looks a little rusty compared to some of our other starlets.
Ki-Jana Hoever is currently impressing in the U17 World Cup while Curtis Jones has also done well under Jurgen Klopp.
It will be interesting to see if we target more young players in the coming transfer windows.
