Former Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has done a great job at Leicester. The Foxes sit just eight points behind us in second place and have only lost to Manchester United and us this season.

Rodgers knows a thing or two about Scottish football, and the former Celtic manager offered Davidson a trial too (h/t Daily Record).

Davidson featured for Leicester’s U16 against West Ham, with the London side also interested in the 15-year-old (h/t Daily Record).

More trials set for youngster

The report adds that Southampton have also planned a trial for the winger and it will be interesting to see where he could end up.
