Napoli to hand Liverpool target Fabian Ruiz a new deal
Liverpool have been linked with Spanish midfielder Fabian Ruiz of Napoli (h/t Liverpool Echo).
However, the Serie A giants won’t give up on the 23-year-old and will offer him a new deal.
Mundo Deportivo (h/t Liverpool Echo) claims that the Spaniard is also attracting interest from Barcelona and Real Madrid.
Napoli are set to hand him a new deal in order to fend off interest in the rising Spanish star (h/t Liverpool Echo).
The Reds have seen him in close action after we were beaten by Napoli early in the season.
Liverpool host the Serie A side in a crunch Champions League fixture in midweek, and it will be interesting to see how he does then.
A rising midfielder star
Ruiz was excellent during the U21 Euros as he helped Spain lift the title.
The 23-year-old has started this season in fine form too with three goals in 11 Serie A games so far.
However, things aren’t going well for Napoli in the league this season. They lie seventh in the table and are 13 points behind leaders Juventus.
The Reds could do with more midfield talent for the future given that some of our first-teamers are 30 or are nearing that age.
