Ryan Fraser keeping options open as contract runs down at Bournemouth
Ryan Fraser is a free agent at the end of the season and hasn’t penned a new deal with Bournemouth.
The 25-year-old was excellent for the Cherries in the previous season as he scored 7 goals and provided 14 assists in the Premier League.
The Scottish international has been linked with a move to Liverpool, according to the Independent.
Fraser has two assists and a goal this campaign and Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe has revealed that no decision has been taken by the attacker.
Howe wants to keep hold of the 25-year-old and confirmed there have been talks too (h/t Independent):
“We would love him to stay and commit to us but, if not, we need to get the best out of him between now and the end of the season. We’ve had conversations with Ryan to try and persuade him to stay but, at the moment, he’s keeping his options open.”
Liverpool need more quality on the bench
The Reds have a fantastic first XI, however, we could do with more quality coming off the bench.
Divock Origi has done a great job since the tail-end of the previous season but Xherdan Shaqiri has spent a lot of time injured.
Rhian Brewster and Harvey Elliott need more first-team minutes to develop their game too. Fraser could be a decent option coming off the bench, and it will be interesting to see what the future holds for him.
