Rhian Brewster is a target for several English clubs, according to the Daily Star.
The 19-year-old is one of the brightest prospects at Liverpool but has only featured in the Carabao Cup games this season.
Brewster did play in some pre-season clashes but hasn’t picked up any minutes in the Premier League or Champions League.
The report claims that Jurgen Klopp is open to letting Brewster leave on loan in the January window.
Leeds United, Crystal Palace, Aston Villa and Swansea are interested in the teenager (h/t Daily Star).
Villa have been impressive in the Premier League this season while Palace have struggled for goals too.
The Eagles have Jordan Ayew as the top scorer with four goals only. Leeds are chasing promotion to the Premier League and already have several youngsters on loan.
There is the case of Jack Clarke, who joined from Spurs on loan. However, the Englishman has only played in the Carabao Cup games for the Championship side.
The English youngster has to play first-team games regular to continue his development.
Sending him out on loan is the least we can do in the winter window. However, we need to ensure he gets games and doesn’t spend time on the bench.
Harry Wilson has done a decent job since joining Bournemouth at the start of the season. Brewster should also be sent to a Premier League side, and it will be interesting to see if we are willing to let him leave.
The Reds don’t have a lot of senior cover for their front three, and Brewster could be used in case Roberto Firmino misses a lot of games in the second half of the campaign.
