Liverpool are interested in 17-year-old English striker/midfielder Ricky-Jade Jones, according to the Daily Mail.
The youngster has broken into the Peterborough first-team this season and also scored on his first start for the club.
Jones has scored in League One and the FA Cup this season and is the latest talent to come out from the team.
The report claims that Peterborough are bracing themselves for a January bid from interested parties.
Leicester, Arsenal and Manchester City have also kept tabs on the 17-year-old, while Tottenham saw a £2million offer rejected too (h/t Daily Mail).
The League One side did sign Jones to a new deal earlier this month, and it will be interesting to see how things develop with the youngster.
The Reds do have some quality young attackers in the team. Rhian Brewster is on the periphery of the first-team while Harvey Elliott joined in the summer.
The pair have impressed in our Carabao Cup campaign and Curtis Jones is another who has caught the eye.
Liverpool did lose Bobby Duncan in the summer to Fiorentina while Paul Glatzel picked up a serious injury during pre-season.
The Reds can always do with more quality youngsters joining the side. We signed Sepp van den Berg in the summer too, and the Dutch defender has looked decent this season.
