Liverpool on alert as Borussia Dortmund open to selling Jadon Sancho in January
Liverpool are on alert as Jadon Sancho could be sold by Borussia Dortmund in the January window, according to the Independent (h/t Mirror).
Sancho has fallen foul to disciplinary issues at Dortmund several times this season. The latest one seems to have been the tipping point for the club as he turned up late for training again.
The 19-year-old was already fined earlier in the season and the report claims that Dortmund are open to selling him in January to stop further issues hitting the club.
Manchester United are also keen on the teenager who has taken the Bundesliga by storm (h/t Mirror).
Sancho is also a regular for the England national team but there is a lot of competition for him.
His former club, Manchester City, are interested in the 19-year-old and so are Real Madrid (h/t Mirror).
Real are also open to doing a move with Achraf Hakimi, who is on loan at Borussia Dortmund from the La Liga giants (h/t Mirror).
Liverpool set for another big winter window?
The Reds splashed a lot of cash to sign Virgil van Dijk from Southampton in a January window, and it will be interesting to see if we do the same for Sancho.
Liverpool are in a great position currently but could do with a bit more quality in the final third too.
