Liverpool favourites to land Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund
Former Norway star Jan Aage Fjortoft has claimed that Liverpool are the favourites to sign Jadon Sancho.
Fjortoft tweeted that Jurgen Klopp is also keen on the winger and there could be more good news on the way.
Sancho wants to leave the club in January despite being one of their best players this season.
The 19-year-old has scored six times for Borussia Dortmund this season and has seven assists too.
Sancho is a regular for the England national side and assisted in the 7-0 win over Montenegro.
The Englishman has also scored in his last three appearances for Dortmund with a great strike against Barcelona too.
Big money needed for Sancho
Sancho is not going to be a cheap signing with the Express suggesting that his valuation is £100million.
There are other big clubs interested in the Englishman with Real Madrid, Barcelona and Manchester United all keeping tabs on him (h/t Express).
Liverpool had a low-key summer transfer window and it will be interesting to see our plans for January.
We could do with another world-class attacker to lessen the burden on Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane.
Salah has also been nursing an ankle injury and the Reds have a gruelling fixture list in December and January.
