Liverpool emerge as shock contenders for PSG’s Neymar
Liverpool are one of the clubs that want to sign Neymar, according to Le Parisian (h/t Express).
The 27-year-old left Barcelona to join Paris Saint-Germain to become the most expensive player in the world.
However, the report claims that PSG want to cut their losses and the Reds are monitoring the Brazilian star.

Neymar tried to return to Barcelona in the previous summer window, but the Catalans didn’t have enough money for the deal (h/t Express).
Real Madrid, Juventus, Chelsea and Manchester City are also interested in the Brazilian (h/t Express).
Neymar missed a chunk of this season due to an injury but he still has six goals and an assist from eight Ligue 1 games.
Liverpool don’t need Neymar
Although the Brazilian is one of the most talented players in the world, the Reds don’t need him in the team.
Our attack could improve with Neymar in the side but there have been problems with his attitude in the past.

The 27-year-old also has missed several games due to injuries while at Barcelona and PSG.
Liverpool are a well-oiled machine at the moment, and the last thing we need is a big ego coming in and making things difficult for the playing and coaching staff.
