‘A Dynasty Awaits’-Reds jubilant as Klopp extends Liverpool reign

Jurgen Klopp can become the longest-serving Liverpool manager since Bob Paisley

Christmas has come early at Liverpool with the news of Jürgen Klopp extending his stay at the club by two more years until 2024.

Jurgen Klopp ‘s new contract keeps him at Liverpool till 2024

This will come as a relief to a majority of the fans and also to the owners FSG who were willing to do just about anything to keep the German at the club.

Both of Klopp’s trusted lieutenants, Pepijn Ljinders and Peter Krawietz have also penned similar extensions prolonging their association with the club.

Liverpool fans over the moon at Klopp’s renewal

By committing his future to the club Klopp has reinforced the vision that FSG has set for the club to experience sustained success.

For anyone in football who aspires to compete in an environment where every element of the organisation is at its very best – from the support of the supporters to the vision of the owners – there can be no better place than this.

The confidence between the owners and the manager seems to be absolute as FSG believes there is no one better who can take the club forward.

“We feel this represents one of the big moments of our stewardship of Liverpool Football Club so far as we believe there is no better manager than Jürgen. The decision also keeps with the club’s overall strategy of building from a position of strength.

If successful, this will be Klopp’s longest reign at a club, having served at both Mainz and Dortmund for 7 years each. A break in this trend showcases his belief in being able to achieve much more with the squad that he has built at Merseyside.

“For me personally this is a statement of intent, one which is built on my knowledge of what we as a partnership have achieved so far and what is still there for us to achieve.

This comes at a time when Liverpool are 8 points clear of Leicester City in second and a whopping 14 clear of defending champions Manchester City as they chase their first League title in 30 years.

Jurgen Klopp has built a Liverpool side in his own image. Uncompromising, Resilient, Efficient and Successful. He now has the time to make them even better. Come 2024 years he may not just be the longest serving manager since Bob Paisley but also the most Successful since.
