Jurgen Klopp plans to ease in new signing Takumi Minamino
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has admitted that he is unsure as to how to fit new signing Takumi Minamino into the Liverpool XI (h/t Daily Mail).
The Japanese playmaker will officially join the Reds from RB Salzburg on January 1st after completing a move for £7.25million.
Klopp has hinted that Minamino will be gradually eased into the team. The German manager is not interested in short-term solutions and wants to look at the bigger picture (h/t Liverpoolfc).
Klopp has lavished praise on Minamino, citing the quality he is capable of adding to the Liverpool team and believes that the player fits in well with Liverpool’s playing style (h/t Liverpool Echo).
Minamino, who can play in a variety of positions in the midfield and the attack, would add quality in depth as Liverpool chase their first league title in 30 years.
