The midfielder who has been linked with a move away this January transfer window with the Reds have been touted as a possible destination.
Grealish was offered to Liverpool in the summer for £25million. The Midlanders at that time were facing financial difficulties after failing to gain promotion to the Premier League the year before.
The Reds were similarly disinterested when the player was offered to the club again last summer. (h/t Liverpool Echo)
News linking the player to Liverpool have surfaced once again following comments by Andy Gray where he claimed that Grealish was better than any of the Reds’ midfielders. (h/t Liverpool Echo)
It gained further traction when former Liverpool midfielder Danny Murphy talked up the Villa midfielder as a long term replacement for Georginio Wijnaldum and James Milner.
Liverpool remain uninterested in the player and are unlikely to make a move for him in the January transfer window.
