The Egyptian attacker has been a tremendous hit since his move from Roma in 2017. Salah has scored 87 times in 137 appearances for the Reds.

The prolific forward has won the Premier League golden boot in both his seasons at the club and currently leads the club’s scoring charts this season with 16 goals. (h/t Whoscored)

Although Klopp has stated that he is unsure regarding the player’s decision, he is far from worried regarding the situation.

The German was quite candid when it came to the topic. Klopp believes that the player is happy at Liverpool and he has no reason to believe otherwise.

Klopp praised the Egyptian’s hunger and stated that the same can be said of any other players and he hasn’t given the topic a thought until that moment.

“I have no idea, actually, but you could ask me the same question for all the others and I have no idea. I didn’t think about it until you asked me.”

Salah has faced heat from a section of the Liverpool fanbase this season due to a number of reasons. Certain factions have also pushed the idea that the Egyptian has beef with Mane. This has lead to a number of unsavoury rumours regarding his future.

The majority of Liverpool fans still back the Egyptian and Klopp’s statements will have put them at ease.

One of the finest attackers to play for Liverpool, Salah has eclipsed the goalscoring records of both Fernando Torres and Luis Suarez.
