Liverpool have bounced back well after losing their first three finals under Jurgen Klopp. The Reds currently hold the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Super Cup and the Club World Cup.
The Merseysiders are also favourites to add their first Premier League title to the collection this season. Liverpool will be crowned Champions of England for the first time in 30 years if they can pick up 18 points from the last 13 games.
The 30-year-old is convinced that this Liverpool side is primed to win more trophies in the coming seasons. The defender likened the team’s ambitions to that of Guardiola’s all-conquering Catalan side from the late 2000s to early 2010s.
“I especially want, that we are remembered maybe like the Barcelona team that won in four years something like 20 trophies.”
The perfect atmosphere
Lovren praised the atmosphere in the Liverpool dressing room unlike anything he has experienced before.
“It is a good experience also for the younger ones, to understand that even if you are on top you still need to work as hard as if you were in the middle of the table or in last position.”
