Jurgen Klopp refuses the hilarious request of a young United fan
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has taken time out to send a reply to a 10-year-old Manchester United fan’s heartfelt request, according to Daily Mail.
Liverpool are currently 22 points clear at the top of the table. With just 12 more games to play, the Reds are potentially looking at an invincible season. With no club so far able to inflict defeat upon the Reds, 10-year-old Daragh Curley has taken the task upon himself.
The youngster wrote to Klopp describing his grief at the Reds’ performances. He described his deep anguish as a United fan at watching Liverpool do so well and provided tips to the German on how to lose.
The youngster was left stunned when the Liverpool boss actually replied to his letter. Klopp politely declined Daragh’s request and explained how it is his duty to ensure Liverpool do well. The German went on to pacify the youngster by claiming that Liverpool have lost games in the past and will lose in the future again. Such is the nature of football.
He also praised the 10-year-old’s passion for football and said that United were lucky to have such a fan. He ended the letter by hoping that the youngster will not be too disappointed if Liverpool win more trophies while also stating that in football, respect trumps rivalry.

Pretty sure that Daragh would have enjoyed our loss against Atletico Madrid, even if it was not by design. Liverpool need just six more wins to equal Arsenal’s 49-game unbeaten run. The Reds return to action at Anfield against West Ham United this weekend.
