Klopp unaware of dressing room ban instituted by Jordan Henderson

According to The Express, Jurgen Klopp claimed that he is unaware of the ban instituted by Jordan Henderson preventing Liverpool players from talking about winning the Premier League.

The Reds are just 12 points away from winning their first league title in 30 years. The Merseysiders could be crowned champions as early as March 21st if they win their next four games.

The Reds have been relentless this season winning 26 of the 27 games played. In spite of posting such unprecedented numbers, the Liverpool players have stayed grounded regarding any such talk.

The fact was revealed by Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain who claimed that any premature talk of the title was banned by captain Jordan Henderson. Liverpool players have maintained that they are taking one game at a time and the narrative has Klopp’s blessing.

The German has however denied knowledge of the ban put in place by Henderson.

“I didn’t know Hendo had banned that”

He went on to say that the players are highly unlikely to be discussing hypotheticals when it gets them nothing. The club has always focussed on taking the challenge one game at a time.

In spite of being told otherwise by people he meets, Klopp is aware that only he and his team can decide their own destiny. He stressed the need to focus 100 percent on the immediate task at hand-the trip to Watford.

Liverpool has a considerable lead over defending champions Manchester City. With an attitude such as this, the players are likely to keep their hunger until the championship has been delivered.

Hopefully, this is the season the team takes away more than 30 years of agony and ushers in a new Red dawn.
