Sir Kenny Dalglish sends a message to supporters

According to Liverpoolfc.com, Sir Kenny Dalglish has sent a message to supporters after returning home from the hospital, after being diagnosed with COVID-19.

The Liverpool legend is grateful for all the well-wishers and thanked them for taking out time to send him the messages. Dalglish is glad to be home after spending most of last week at the hospital.

He has gained an increased appreciation of the services provided by the NHS after being subjected to their treatment over the last few days. He has also expressed his gratitude to the selfless medical professionals who have treated him and others like him at a time of great distress.

Kenny Dalglish has expressed his gratitude to the NHS

The 69-year-old has urged people to follow the government guidelines to the tee. We can all do our best to help the NHS combat the spread by just staying at home.

It is necessary for people to follow a thorough lockdown so as to not come in contact with others. Social distancing is the name of the game and Dalglish has asked people to follow it.

The coronavirus pandemic has affected the daily world as we know it. Football as a whole is not immune to it and finds itself in limbo at this point in time.

Melwood is currently in lockdown and the players are all training from home. The aim is to be ready when the season resumes.

Jordan Henderson has played a key role in the players together initiative

An inspiration to all

In spite of being away from the pitch, our players have proven to be heroes off it as well. Led by Jordan Henderson, they have joined up with the other players in the league to come up with the #Players together initiative.

The program was started to help contribute to the NHS in order to help fight the coronavirus. By taking a leading role in seeing it through, Henderson will have done both Dalglish and everyone else who has worn the Liverpool armband before him proud.

The fact that our skipper is doing so much for the NHS is in line with Dalglish sentiments on the organization.
