Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain the star as Liverpool post a hilarious new training video

The coronavirus pandemic has forced Liverpool players to train from home. The Reds have so far shown their ability to make the most of the situation with regular doses of humour.

The club posted another video of the players interacting with the staff on one of their online training sessions. A disgruntled Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain replied to Jurgen Klopp’s surprise at seeing him up an about by claiming he could have spent five more minutes sleeping.

The midfielder uses the fact that Virgil van Dijk not being there as a sign that he is early for training. The Dutchman has ‘impeccable timing’ on the pitch, it appears he is held along the same standards off it as well.

The players spent some time talking about their trim with Ox at the thick of the hair raising issue. Klopp then moved on to take the case of Trent Alexander-Arnold who made it all the way to the final of the ePL invitational tournament.

It was not to be a triumphant end for our number 66. He lost out to Wolverhampton Wanderers star Diogo Jota in extra time.

Ox was once more in the thick of things. He believes Trent would have had a better shot of winning had he played the midfielder in his side.

The midfielder pretended to be chuffed at being overlooked and made a show at being dismayed by his omission. His tirade prompted a hilarious reaction by Klopp who asked the conversation to be muted.

The video clearly shows the chose relationship the Liverpool squad shares. Klopp has built an atmosphere of bonhomie around the squad where the lads are just one big family off the pitch.

It is no surprise that the players fight hard for each other until the final whistle.
