According to a report from the Mirror, Liverpool are considering summer swoop for two talented teenagers in Vasco da Gama forward Talles Magno and KV Mechelen midfielder Aster Vranckx.

17-year-old Magno is a product of the Vasco da Gama academy in Brazil. The teenage forward, who can play on either flank and also as a centre-forward, has broken into the first-team despite his tender age.

Till date, Magno has made 17 appearances for the club, registering 2 goals and a solitary assist. He is also a regular for the Brazil U17 side, for whom he has already netted 3 goals in 6 matches.

Aster Vranckx is also 17 years of age but is already a regular for the KV Mechelen first-team. The Belgian teenager made 10 senior appearances this term, producing a return of one goal and two assists. Primarily a central midfielder, the youngster has broken into the Belgium U19 side, for whom he has already made two appearances.

Liverpool have some very talented young players coming through the youth ranks in Curtis Jones, Harvey Elliott, Neco Williams among others.

A number of those players have already made their first-team debut this season and look primed for a bright future at the club. And adding more young talents like Magno and Vranckx would only serve us better for the coming years.

While that is a good initiative from the club, we also need to focus on strengthening our first-team heading into the summer. Especially in the attacking department, where there is little depth in quality beyond the first-choice trio of Mo Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino.
