Neco Williams commits long-term future to Liverpool
Liverpool youngster Neco Williams has committed his future to the club, signing a new long-term contract, it has been confirmed on the club’s official website.
The young right-back has been with our academy since the U9 levels. He made his first-team debut in 2019/20, starting in a Carabao Cup encounter against Arsenal. He went on to make ten more appearances over the course of the campaign, six of which came in the Premier League.
After enjoying a breakthrough campaign, he has now put pen on paper to a long-term deal. (h/t Liverpoolfc.com)
“It feels amazing. At the minute for me, I think there is no better place to learn and to become a better player than being here and working with the lads. I think we’ve got some of the best players in the world and we’re one of the best teams in the world.”
In his handful of appearances, Williams has given a very good account of himself, proving that we can count on him to cover for Trent Alexander-Arnold.

Wow, a class full back from the academy that cost nothing in transfers. Maybe other teams should try that
