Kamil Grabara set for loan exit to PAOK
According to a report from the Echo, Liverpool youngster Kamil Grabara is set to leave the club this month, to join Greek outfit PAOK on a season-long loan deal.
Having started out his youth career in native Poland, the 21-year-old Grabara joined Liverpool’s youth setup from Ruch Chorzow in January 2016. Since joining, the custodian has featured nine times for the Reds’ U18 side, eight times for the U19s in the UEFA Youth League, before becoming a regular for the reserves. (h/t Transfermarkt)
Grabara has featured 34 times for the club’s reserve team, keeping 11 clean sheets in the process. However, he is yet to make his first-team debut for the Merseyside giants.
Grabara spent the 2019/20 campaign on loan at EFL Championship side Huddersfield Town. He featured 28 times before being sidelined by a serious head injury in January. He ended up shipping 45 goals, managing just five clean sheets. (h/t Transfermarkt)
Now back at Liverpool, the 21-year-old is unlikely to find a pathway to the senior team, with Alisson Becker and Adrian the two top choices, while Loris Karius is also back at the club. In addition, there is also Caiomhin Kelleher, who got some minutes last season.
So, Grabara’s future seems to be away from Anfield once again, with the report claiming that the U21 Poland international closing in on joinig Greek outfit PAOK on loan. (h/t Liverpool Echo)

Grabara signed a new contract with Liverpool last summer before leaving for Huddersfield on loan. His current deal with the club runs till 2022. Given that he will struggle for game time at Anfield, a loan move away would be the best course of action.
