Jordan Henderson and James Milner were named as future managers by former Liverpool star Peter Crouch

Former Liverpool and England striker Peter Crouch answered some questions in his Q+A section on the Daily Mail.

The lanky forward scored some amazing goals during his playing career for the Reds, and is now having a lot of fun as a pundit.

Crouch has shared some incredible insights into the game and his Q+A sections are informative and hilarious at the same time.

This week, one fan asked Crouch which current players could become managers in the future. Crouch claimed that the vocal players would turn out into managers and named John Terry, Steven Gerrard, Scott Parker and Frank Lampard as examples.

All four of them are managers at the moment, with only our ex-captain, Gerrard, managing outside the English top-flight.

James Milner has proven to be a valuable memebr of the Liverpool squad

Terry is an assistant manager at Villa while the other two are at leading clubs. However, Crouch named two current Liverpool stars as managers for the future (h/t Daily Mail):

“I noticed Jurgen Klopp said a couple of weeks ago that he thought Jordan Henderson could become a manager one day and I wouldn’t disagree with that. I’d also put James Milner’s name forward.

“I think he’s got it in him to be a really top coach.”

Liverpool full of leaders

Milner is one of the vice-captains of the Reds while Hendo has been leading us for a while. Crouchy naming the pair as future managers makes sense given how much respect they command on the field and how they get the team going.

Liverpool have several quality leaders, with Virgil van Dijk and Andy Robertson captaining their respective national sides.

Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah are also leaders on the pitch. The Reds have quality all over the pitch and it wouldn’t be a surprise if many from the current batch go on to become managers in the future.
