Liverpool star Diogo Jota earns top ranking as the best FIFA 21 FUT Champions player in the world
Currently out injured, Liverpool star Diogo Jota has made good use of his time to establish himself as the top FIFA 21 Ultimate Team player in the world. The Portuguese achieved it after going on a 30-game winning streak at the weekend. And he managed that by Saturday afternoon.
One of the toughest FIFA categories out there, Jota has proven himself to be to just an accomplished player on the field but off it as well. It will come as no surprise to Liverpool fans, who saw the winger defeat Trent Alexander-Arnold in the FIFA 20 ePremier League Invitational last season.
A capable player himself, Trent had no answer to Jota’s masterclass and succumbed to the 24-year-old’s talents.
It can now be argued that Liverpool have two players who can not just beat you on the field but then invite you over for a game and give you a rollicking on the virtual sphere as well.
The unbeatables
Jota’s team has a mix of the legendary and the world-class. The Liverpool star naturally finds self on the left in a three-man midfield. He appears to have a 99 rated card of himself, hopefully reflecting the ambition of where he wants to end up in real life.
He also has four icon cards namely the Brazilian Ronaldo, Portuguese legend Eusébio, Dutch great Ruud Gullit and French ace Patrick Vieira. This is of course supplemented by talents such as Raphael Varane and Kylian Mbappe.

Interestingly, Jota’s defence apart from Varane consists of Benjamin Mendy, Kyle Walker and James Tavernier, with Nick Pope in goal. A shrewd but rather effective combination.
