The Premier League is reaching the business end of the season and although Manchester City might be strolling their way to the title, there’s still plenty to play for when elsewhere in the top flight.

Not only are they queing up for a place in the top four, but there’s also a real battle on for the Europa League place and a spot in the top half. At the other end of the table, life is just as competitive as the scrap for survival is alive and kicking with the likes of Sheffield United, West Brom and Fulham all picking up vital wins in recent weeks.

With so much on the line between now and the end of the season it’s important to have your fantasy team in tip-top shape if you want to win your mates league or even have a stab a winning the overall league in the , which even allows you to win cash from your fantasy team by scoring the most points.

With that in mind, we’ve picked out a few top Premier League players to put into your fantasy team in order to help you to pick up maximum points between now and the end of the campaign.

Jack Grealish – Aston Villa

The Villa captain has been compared to the great Paul Gascoigne in recent months, as his stock continues to grow across the world, he’ll be desperate to get Villa as high as he can in the Premier League this season. His performances will also dictate as to whether or not he will get the nod for Gareth Southgate’s Euros squad, and although he was named in the last few sides for the Three Lions, you get the feeling that Southgate is yet to be fully convinced with so many options in that attacking midfield position.

For Grealish to get it, he’ll need to contribute with goals and assists for Aston Villa in the next few months, and that means points for you in your fantasy team. At the end of the day, he’s the creative cog in the Villa’s armoury, so he’ll certainly give you a chance of getting points, even if he isn’t hitting the back of the net each week.

Jesse Lingard – West Ham United

Lingard had seemingly lost his spark at Manchester United, but a loan move to West Ham United had certainly brought out the best in him. Under former Man United boss David Moyes, Lingard has been given a free role with the Hammers, and brings with him an experience of winning big matches and silverware.

That experience could play a big part in West Ham cementing down a top six or even top four spot this season, because as we enter into the last few months, they’re sitting pretty in 6th place with just 6 points between themselves and second spot. Lingard is an attacker in every sense of the word, and just like Jack Grealish, goals and assists could help him to push for an outside place in the England squad for this summer’s European Championships.

Mason Mount – Chelsea

Mason Mount is often not given the recognition he deserves by fans and pundits, because during his time at Derby and Chelsea under Frank Lampard he has picked up the reputation of being a bit of a teacher’s pet. However, don’t let that put you off selecting him for your fantasy team, as he’s a player that picks up points for fun and is almost a guaranteed starter in Southgate’s England side this summer.

Now under the management of Thomas Tuchel at Stamford Bridge, Mount has upped his game a notch and has been a huge part of their climb back towards the top four in the past few months. The attacker now has three goals in his last six matches for Chelsea, and has even been handed penalty duties. That’s a great combination for points scoring and is a ‘must-have’ in your fantasy side between now and the end of the season.
