Liverpool reveals plans undertaken for fans’ return to Anfield and Prenton Park

In a statement on the official club website, Liverpool have announced that they are bracing for the return of fans to Anfield and Prenton Park.

After a season of fans being away from the stadiums, the next Premier League campaign will see fans make a return. The statement mentions that the club will continue to prioritize the safety of fans as per government guidelines.

Season tickets and hospitality season tickets renewal are complete and the matchday hospitality sales will begin from this week, along with the LFC member tickets. An excerpt from the statement made by Phil Dutton, vice-president of ticketing and hospitality, reads:

Jurgen Klopp, speaking after 10,000 fans were allowed to attend Liverpool vs Crystal Palace on the last day of the season in May 2021, underlined just how vital fans are to the football club.

“It makes all the difference [fans returning]. We all need support through life… That means we were alone. We knew they are there but we were alone. And getting 10,000 of them back is the best news I can imagine.””
