According to reliable Italian journalist and transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Alisson Becker is close to signing a new contract at Liverpool.

The goalkeeper was signed from AS Roma for a massive £65million fee in 2018. He signed a six-year contract that expires in the summer of 2024, but Liverpool want to extend that even further.

According to Romano, the new deal stretches his stay at Anfield until 2026, with the final formalities of the deal being agreed upon in the upcoming weeks.

It was only after the Reds signed him from AS Roma that they won the Premier League, UEFA Champions League, UEFA Super Cup, and the FIFA Club World Cup. He was at his very best in the 2018/19 season.
