Liverpool are eyeing a move for Dejan Kulusevski this summer

According to the Mirror (h/t Liverpool Echo), Liverpool are monitoring the situation of Dejan Kulusevski at Juventus with the Reds interested in signing the winger this summer.

Kulusevski joined Juventus last summer and went on to make 47 appearances in his debut season, as he scored 7 goals and provided 7 assists in the same period. Kulusevski also featured at the Euros for Sweden, as he provided 2 assists in two games and helped his side reach the Round of 16, where they eventually bowed out to Ukraine.

This could have caught the attention of Liverpool, who are eager to bolster their attacking options this summer. Although the Reds already have a number of players like Diogo Jota, Mo Salah, Roberto Firmino, Divock Origi, and Sadio Mane in their frontline, they could certainly add a couple of players to add quality depth to their attacking options.

Kulusevski can certainly provide that, and under Jurgen Klopp, the Swede could really develop into a brilliant winger. Still 21, he is yet to hit his footballing peak, and a club like Liverpool could give him the platform to do so.

Liverpool, who have won the Champions League and the Premier League in the last three years, are an attractive proposition for any youngster in Europe. Thus, it would not come as a shock if the Swede decides to join the Reds. However, it remains to be seen whether Kulusevski would be happy playing a squad role at Anfield.

Apart from Liverpool, Manchester City, Tottenham Hotspur, and Arsenal are also interested in signing the player.
