Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain told to seal ‘perfect’ transfer to West Ham United from Liverpool

Speaking to BettingOdds.com (h/t Liverpool Echo), former Liverpool defender Glen Johnson has urged Reds’ midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain to move to West Ham United this summer.

The former Arsenal midfielder was linked with a loan move to West Ham United last week, while Liverpool and Jurgen Klopp are also willing to sell the midfielder this summer.

Liverpool, who have already lost Gini Wijnaldum to PSG this summer, have been linked with a number of players, including Franck Kessie, Saul Niguez, Guido Rodriguez, and Renato Sanches.

If one of these players does end up joining the club, Oxlade-Chamberlain could suffer for minutes this season, and a move to another Premier League club could be a win-win situation for all parties.

Alex-Oxlade Chamberlain could leave Liverpool this summer.

In his interview with BettingOdds.com (h/t Liverpool Echo), Johnson talked about how Oxlade-Chamberlain could be a great fit for West Ham if he can stay fit throughout the season.

“West Ham’s a fantastic football club, and they will let Alex enjoy his football. Obviously, the only concern with Ox is that he’s got to stay fit because he’s a fantastic player with bags of energy and great ability, but that’s no good on the treatment table.

“Hopefully his body can get through all of next season. But I think West Ham United and Oxlade-Chamberlain would be a perfect fit.

“Moyes would take the shackles off him, let him go and enjoy himself, and see what he can do. Touchwood Alex can stay fit and get back to his best.”

West Ham United are linked with a move for Chamberlain this summer.

Additionally, Oxlade-Chamberlain might not be the only player Liverpool will lose this summer, as they also face the prospect of losing the likes of Divock Origi, Xherdan Shaqiri, and Nat Philipps
