Fabinho predicts a good season for Liverpool

“Yes, of course. This is Liverpool Football Club. We will always play to win trophies.

Fabinho admitted that Liverpool went through a difficult phase last season. However, the club are well prepared going into this one.

“The last season was a difficult season, but this season we are confident we can still win important things with this team.

“The mentality of the boys is really important. Some important players are back in the team as well. The preparation is really good and hopefully it will be a really good season for us.”

Could Liverpool win the big trophies?

The club has enjoyed an overwhelming amount of success in the past few seasons. Jurgen Klopp has shown that he can coach a side to compete and win major trophies. Hence, counting Liverpool out should be out of the question.

However, could the lack of transfer activity hurt the club’s ambition?

Could Jurgen Klopp pull it off again?

So far, Ibrahima Konate has been the only arrival for the Reds. Looking around, the likes of Manchester City, Chelsea and Manchester United have flexed their muscles and signed top players.

If the Reds don’t make any more moves, it might hurt their ambitions. That would also put immense pressure on the likes of Robert Firmino and Sadio Mane to regain their form.

Hence, it could help the squad if one or two more players are added. However, as mentioned above, Klopp can take them all the way regardless.
