Wolves reveal the price tag for Liverpool target Adama Traore

According to 90min.com (h/t Express), Wolves have suggested what it would take for Liverpool to sign Adama Traore. According to the report, the West Midlands club will ask a minimum of £40m for the signature of the Spanish winger.

The Reds are looking to add another forward to their squad before the windows shuts. The report suggests that Liverpool have Traore on the table. However, the club are not willing to meet Wolves’ valuation.

Liverpool still hope that a deal could be struck. Both clubs have done business in the past. Liverpool signed Diogo Jota, while Ki-Jana Hoever was sent to Wolves. However, the price tag isn’t the only hurdle for Liverpool. The report adds that there is interest from Leeds United. Traore is open to a change. The winger has rejected a contract extension from Wolves.

How Traore can fit in at Liverpool

Adama Traore signed for Wolves in 2018. The 25-year-old has made a name for himself due to his unreal pace and quick feet. The Spaniard seemed like the perfect piece in Wolves’ 3-4-3 system. Along with Raul Jiminez, Traore formed one of the deadliest strike partnerships.
