Transfer News: Liverpool interested in signing Carlos Soler
According to transfer news from Fichajes (h/t ECHO), Liverpool have shown interest in signing Carlos Soler. The Spaniard has been in great form at the start of this season and it has been claimed that Liverpool and Jurgen Klopp are the main parties after the Valencia starlet.
Carlos Soler joined Valencia’s youth system back in 2005. He made quick progress through the ranks before making his debut for the club’s reserve side during the 2014-15 season. A year later, he was promoted to the first team and made his La Liga debut against Real Sociedad back in December 2016.
The Spaniard has blossomed into one of the mainstays of Valencia’s midfield over the past few seasons, accumulating 26 goals and assists each in 188 appearances across all competitions. Soler enjoyed a great season last time and has carried the form into this season as well, netting three goals in the first three La Liga fixtures.
It would seem as if his blistering form has not gone unnoticed. Soler, a full Spanish international, is said to be among the names Liverpool are looking at to bolster their midfield. It has been claimed that Klopp is a fan of the player. The German is said to be impressed with his versatility. It has not been made clear whether Liverpool might go after him in January or next season.

Soler already boasts of a lot of experience for a player aged just 24. The Spaniard also has a good track record of goals and assists, which clearly provides a testament to his pedigree in the final third. Liverpool have missed a creative midfielder since the days of Philippe Coutinho and Soler can be the option to be that missing link.
