Reporter reveals important detail about 21-year-old Liverpool target’s contract

Liverpool are planning to make move for Jude Bellingham next summer

According to Daily Star (h/t Liverpool Echo), Liverpool have identified Jude Bellingham as the number one target next summer. The Reds are planning an £80m bid for the England international. However, Patrick Berger of Sport1 (Liverpool Echo) suggests that Bellingham does not have a release clause mentioned in his contract at Dortmund.

Liverpool could not make the most of the transfer window summer and were only able to sign Ibrahim Konate from RB Leipzig. However, the Reds are looking to make big moves next summer and have eyed Jude Bellingham as a prime target. The Premier League giants are even ready to break their transfer record

in order to land the 18-year old.

However, there are hurdles that Liverpool will have to overcome in order to sign Bellingham. As per the report, Liverpool will find it difficult to make a bid for the 18-years old, as there is no release clause mentioned in his current contract at Dortmund. This could make negotiations harder for both the clubs involved.

The 18-year old has quickly garnered the attention of major European clubs this summer. During his time at Dortmund last season, the player played in a total of 46

games for the club and contributed 4 goals & 4 assists to the team. Since the start of this season, Bellingham has been involved in all 3 games for Dortmund in Bundesliga and was also called up for international duty for the Three Lions.

Bellingham started in the game at home for England against Andorra. Gareth Southgate started him alongside Jordan Henderson and Trent Alexander-Arnold. Chelsea were also linked with Bellingham who is now a target for Liverpool.
