Liverpool ace Virgil van Dijk is ready to help Harvey Elliott in recovery after he suffered a injury blow against Leeds

According to Liverpool Echo, Liverpool midfielder, Harvey Elliott suffered a major injury blow which could see him being sidelined for the rest of the season. Elliott had his ankle dislocated following a challenge from defender Pascal Struijk in the clash against Leeds.

Liverpool stalwart Virgil van Dijk, who himself had his season cut short in 2020/21 due to a cruciate ligament injury, has come out and promised to help to the youngster to recover from the injury.

The injury to Elliott is a big blow for the player and the team as well, considering that the youngster was in good form since the start of the season. However, his focus will now be on the recovery from the injury.

The win meant Liverpool stayed in touch with table-toppers Manchester United and Chelsea with 10 points in 4 games.
