Liverpool to battle out the transfer deal of Youri Tielemans with Bayern Munich

According to Calciomercato (h/t Express), Liverpool’s long-desired transfer target Youri Tielemans is on the watchlist of German giant Bayern Munich. They are not going to drop their idea of signing the Belgian quickly. 

Liverpool have had their eyes on Tielemans for a long time now. From January this year, they have been linked with the 24-years old midfielder. 

Youri Tielemans surprised the world with his consistent growth at Leicester. This season in 9 games, he already

has three goals and two assists in the Premier League. He has shown that he can perform in big games and win titles. Tielemans scored a goal in this year’s FA Cup final, helping Leicester win the crucial match. 

The Belgian midfielder has shown fast-growing abilities. He is also less injury-prone and has maintained his fitness to perform day-in and day-out in the Premier League. In the Premier League, he has played 97 games for the Foxes. He is one of the leading players of their team and the key to their midfield supremacy. 

Jürgen Klopp has grown severe affection for the player. Liverpool has been following his situation at Leicester. 

He can be the solution for Liverpool’s ageing Midfield issue. Both Henderson and Milner have crossed the 30 age mark. Milner has already suffered a hamstring injury in the United game and is out of action. Henderson is playing non-stop in the Premier League and Champions League, and the hectic schedule can take a toll on him at this rate. 

But Liverpool now has a strong opponent in the transfer duel. According to Calciomercato (h/t Express), Bayern Munich has shown strong interest in the midfielder. They want to solve their problem as they intend to replace Corentin Tolisso with the Belgian. 

The ex-AS Monaco player’s contract ends in 2023, and he hasn’t penned down any new deal with the Foxes yet. So, in the coming transfer window, both the powerhouses would battle out in the transfer market to gain Youri Tielemans’s services.
