James Milner aim hilarious dig at Divock Origi as Liverpool down Preston North End
According to Liverpool Echo, Liverpool veteran James Milner chose to celebrate the Red’s win over Preston North End by aiming a funny social media post at Divock Origi.
Liverpool won the game 2-0 at Deepdale on Wednesday night and will now take part in the quarter-final stage of the competition. Second-half goals from Takumi Minamino and Origi saw Liverpool overcome a challenging first half.
Jurgen Klopp made 11 changes to the starting XI that thumped Manchester United 5-0 on Sunday in the Premier League encounter. While it was far from a vintage performance, the Merseysiders got the job done.
The Reds vice-captain was cheering the team on from the sidelines and took to the social media platform, Instagram to showcase his support for his teammates.
The midfielder shared a picture of Origi’s goal on Instagram with the caption. He might as well have revealed the secret behind Origi’s incredible movements on the pitch.
“Good to see Divock’s yoga is paying off! And the young lads doing well On to the next round #ynwa #standingscorpionpose”
Milner is currently out injured and is likely to miss a few more games. The midfielder suffered a hamstring injury at Man United. He lasted just 26 minutes at Old Trafford and pulled up and was forced off the pitch clutching his hamstring.
