According to Liverpool Echo, Liverpool veteran James Milner chose to celebrate the Red’s win over Preston North End by aiming a funny social media post at Divock Origi.

Liverpool won the game 2-0 at Deepdale on Wednesday night and will now take part in the quarter-final stage of the competition. Second-half goals from Takumi Minamino and Origi saw Liverpool overcome a challenging first half.

Jurgen Klopp made 11 changes to the starting XI that thumped Manchester United 5-0 on Sunday in the Premier League encounter. While it was far from a vintage performance, the Merseysiders got the job done.

The Reds vice-captain was cheering the team on from the sidelines and took to the social media platform, Instagram to showcase his support for his teammates.

The midfielder shared a picture of Origi’s goal on Instagram with the caption. He might as well have revealed the secret behind Origi’s incredible movements on the pitch.

James Milner is currently suffering from a hamstring injury.

Milner is currently out injured and is likely to miss a few more games. The midfielder suffered a hamstring injury at Man United. He lasted just 26 minutes at Old Trafford and pulled up and was forced off the pitch clutching his hamstring.
