Liverpool handed Thiago and Naby Keita injury boost ahead of Brighton clash

According to Liverpool Echo, The Reds have received a double injury boost ahead of their Premier League encounter with Brighton and Hove Albion.

Thiago Alcantara and Naby Keita are back in full training as Jurgen Klopp is set to make a number of changes to the starting XI which featured against Preston in the midweek in Carbap Cup.

It is yet to be seen whether Jurgen Klopp brings the duo back straightaway in the squad or take more time to help them fully recover from the injury.

Thiago has been out of action since mid-September, when he suffered a calf injury during The Red’s 3-0 win over Crystal Palace. Meanwhile, Kieta was stretchered off last Sunday during their encounter against Manchester United following a wild challenge from Paul Pogba.

Meanwhile, the Brazilian midfielder looks likely to miss this game as well. Having missed the trips to Old Trafford and Preston North End, Fabinho looks unlikely to face Brighton with Liverpool’s midfield options somewhat limited as a result.

Keita is also back in full training.

James Milner is currently suffering from a hamstring injury as well. Milner is currently out injured and is likely to miss a few more games. The midfielder suffered a hamstring injury at Man United. He lasted just 26 minutes at Old Trafford and pulled up and was forced off the pitch clutching his hamstring.

Attackers on song!

Liverpool, who are currently unbeaten in all competitions, are second on the points table behind Chelsea are surely favourites against Brighton. Klopp will be hopeful that Mohamed Salah continues his mesmerising form against Brighton as well.

Salah has scored 15 goals from just 12 matches this season. Roberto Firmino has impressed in recent weeks while Diogo Jota was back on the scoresheet after being given the nod against United on Sunday.
