According to Liverpool Echo, Liverpool now has a huge advantage in the race to sign Karim Adeyemi as the Red Bull Salzburg player has ‘no desire’ in signing for Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United.

The Reds could pursue the striker as they are lack dependable squad depth upfront. With Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah looking likely to miss up to eight games due to AFCON, the English club could look at Adeyemi as a solution.
