Transfer News: Fiorentina reveal their price tag for Liverpool target Dusan Vlahovic
According to Goal in Italy (h/t Liverpoolecho), ACF Fiorentina has set their asking price for their star forward Dusan Vlahovic, a transfer target for Liverpool.
The Serbian has been linked with the big European teams during the last few weeks. The Fiorentina star has become a headliner player for Seria A after showcasing his ruthless goalscoring form. In the previous two years, he has scored 31 goals in 53 matches for the I Viola.
Vlahovic shows no sign of slowing down as he has continued his form with a hat-trick against Spezia Calcio on the last day of the previous month. He remains one of the standout performers of the Italian side.
The Seria A club intends to take advantage of his excellent form to earn a hefty sum from his transfer. They are willing to let the Serbian international leave this winter even though he has two years left in his contract. But the I Gigliati wouldn’t entertain anything less than €80m (£68.7m) from the interested clubs.
It is believed that Seria A giants Juventus were ‘keen‘ to sign him. They have however been priced out of a move.
Liverpool is set to face an intense bidding war during the winter transfer window for the youngster. Vlahovic is showing the right signs of becoming an exceptional goalscorer in the future.

Liverpool will certainly benefit from adding a proven goalscorer such as Vlahovic to their attacking arsenal. But the high asking price could be a barrier for the Reds management, who also have to offer Mohamed Salah a handsome wage bill to convince him in signing a long term contract.
