A source told TEAMtalk (h/t Liverpoolecho) that they are desperate in their approach to keep hold of the 19-year-old. They are also aware that they face a fight on their hands to convince Carvalho to stay put.

“The club is desperate to keep hold of Fabio, and they are hopeful. But they realise he knows of the interest in him, and it won’t be easy.”
