Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp praises January target, Jarrod Bowen

According to Fichajes (h/t Liverpool Echo), Liverpool are interested in signing Jarrod Bowen from West Ham to ‘add to their roster’.

The English winger has been putting in consistent performances for West Ham United for the last couple of seasons. It was not lost on the Reds hierarchy who targetted him earlier this summer.

Despite not going through with the deal, the Liverpool board continue to keep tabs and is currently keeping a tab on the player ahead of the January transfer window.

The 24-years-old player laid the foundation for the Hammers’ success over the Reds on Sunday. Liverpool didn’t have a solution for his set-pieces as he provided two assists on the night. The Irons ended the Reds’ 25-matches unbeaten run that night.

The German manager praised Bowen’s abilities and the threat he possesses for his teams ahead of Sunday’s clash. He also suggested that the Hammers’ player showed incredible growth in a short span and continues to amaze.

The former Hull City player was able to justify Jurgen Klopp’s praises as he put out an incredible performance in front of him. The former Dortmund manager was in awe of the set pieces and agreed that his team had several problems dealing with them.

Jurgen Klopp would like to have such a ‘reliable’ player in his arsenal going into the remaining games later this season. If the Merseyside team completes the purchase in the coming window, the German manager would possess the player he clearly admires.
