Jordan Henderson, Sadio Mane and James Milner return to Liverpool training
According to Liverpool Echo, Jordan Henderson, Sadio Mane and James Milner were all spotted in Liverpool training ahead of their game against Arsenal at the weekend.
Liverpool are set to face the Gunners at the weekend in the Premier League. After suffering a loss against West Ham and a draw against Brighton, Jurgen Klopp’s team would require a better performance against Mikel Arteta’s side to keep their title hopes alive.
But injuries to crucial players put the hopes of Kopites at risk. With three of his stars back in action, Jurgen Klopp will have more options available.
Henderson suffered a minor injury in the England vs Albania match where the Three Lions bagged a 5-0 victory. The Liverpool skipper earned himself a goal and an assist on the night.
Klopp trusted James Milner in the early half of the season. He was repeatedly featured in matches alongside Naby Keita and Henderson. Being the senior-most player of the Reds squad, the workload took a toll on him. He suffered a hamstring injury and was sidelined for the last four matches.
Sadio Mane also suffered an injury while on international duty. On Thursday, the Senegalese player was forced off the field in the 28th minute against Togo with a rib injury.
All three players have become the pillars of Jurgen Klopp’s team. They performed in critical games and has become reliable options for the German. The Kopites must have felt their absence in the vital match against the London team.
