Wolves have decided to lower the asking rate for Liverpool target Adama Traore

According to Football Insider (h/t Liverpool Echo), Wolves have extensively lowered their asking price for Liverpool target Adama Traore

The winger rose to fame in the 2019/20 season after his heroics against Manchester City. However, he has failed to consistently provide goals and assists in the yellow jersey. This season he has also fallen from the pecking order under new manager Bruno Lage.

In such a situation, Wolves have opted for offloading him. This is good news for Liverpool who are in need of attacking reinforcements.

Adama Traore of Wolves is linked with a transfer to Liverpool.

Liverpool has been linked with the Spaniard for quite some time. However, his high valuation stopped the Reds board from preparing any offer. But it seems the Wanderers have an urgency to sell the 25-year-old. It is believed that Bruno Lage’s team has decided to go as low as £18m-£20m from their initial asking price of £50million

This could become a massive advantage for Liverpool, who, on the other hand, are giving the need for a midfield reinforcement high priority.

Even though Traore‘s recent performances have been disappointing, he showed the spark a few seasons back. His past pace with a muscular body has proven to be dangerous for opponents defenders. Furthermore, his use of body oil on hand has made it even more challenging o get to grasp him.
