Liverpool planning to enter the race for Pogon Szczecin star Kacper Kozlowski
According to Polish publication Super Express (h/t Mirror), Liverpool are eyeing a move for Polish wonderkid Kacper Kozlowski.
The youngster has become a key performer in the Polish League and is steadily making a name for himself. The 18-year-old has already made 19 appearances in his country’s premier division, which is a significant achievement for someone so young.
Furthermore, his dominating performance in the midfield has been the talk of the town lately. Playing specifically in the central midfield, he has bagged three goals and four assists this season.
The teenage sensation’s recent performances have attracted attention from the Premier League. Brighton has been heavily linked with the starlet in recent times. But, it is believed that Jurgen Klopp’s team have ‘proposed’ an offer of £10million for the midfielder.
Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson is the Merseyside club’s leader in the middle of the park. The British player has been expectational over the years. However, at 31, the Rd s should be looking for a worthy replacement for him in the years to come.
Liverpool were without some key midfield players earlier this season. James Milner, Naby Keita, Thiago Alcântara and Curtis Jones all missed several games this season due to injuries. Even though the former Borussia Dortmund manager used the services of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain to tackle the situation, Henderson’s presence lends the team a unique balance.
Also a regular for England, Henderson continues to perform at a high-level week in week out for both club and country.
However, amidst all these games, the Reds captain isn’t getting any breather. He has maintained top-notch fitness. But his ageing body faces the danger of wearing out and injuries.

Jurgen Klopp could face difficulty playing without his key midfielder in important games. In such a case, Kozlowski could become a massive help.
The Polish player is young and already got the expertise to win midfield battles against veteran players. With a bit of grooming, he could become a viable alternative for the midfield position.
